As a consequence of the Virtual Museum's great visibility and impact a set of five postage stamps has been dedicated to Discover Islamic Art by the Jordanian Government.  The set includes stamps with different values with a first edition of 3,000. The stamps, which are available at post offices all over the country, show Islamic art items from museums that have contributed to create the Virtual Museum's Permanent Collection.
